A garden centre in the middle of Malta
Petline has been supplying gardeners in Attard and across Malta alongside the pet side of the shop. Seeds, soil, feeds, pots and tools sit on the same shelves as advice from people who grow in the same climate and the same limestone soil you do.

What's on the garden shelves
Seeds & bulbs
Vegetable and herb seeds for every Maltese season, flowering bulbs, and starter trays for the balcony or the field.
Soil, compost & feeds
Potting soil, compost, slow-release feeds and liquid fertilisers for citrus, tomatoes, succulents and lawns.
Tools & pots
Spades, secateurs, hoses, watering cans, terracotta and plastic pots in the sizes that actually fit a Maltese roof.
Plant care
Pest and fungus treatments, snail control, netting and shade cloth to carry plants through the summer heat.
What to plant, and when
Autumn (September – November)
The best planting window in Malta. Sow lettuce, broad beans, peas, cauliflower and coriander, and split overgrown perennials while the soil is still warm.
Winter (December – February)
Feed citrus trees, prune roses and vines, and watch drainage — most winter losses here are roots sitting in water, not cold.
Spring (March – May)
Tomatoes, peppers, melons and basil go in. Start a feeding routine early, before the first hot spell arrives.
Summer (June – August)
Water deeply at dusk rather than lightly at midday, mulch the pots, and move tender plants into afternoon shade.
